BOSTON, MA and CONCORD, NH...

I-93 North to Exit 44 (last exit in New Hampshire). Take a left turn at the end of the exit ramp (Rte. 18). In approximately 1 mile the road forks. Bear right on Rte. 18. You will immediately pass a sign that says "Moore Dam". In a 1/4 mile you will cross a bridge over the Connecticut River into Vermont.Stay on Rte. 18 approx. 1 more mile, and you will then see a sign for The Rabbit Hill Inn. Make a left at the Rabbit Hill Inn, this is Lower Waterford Road. Go 6 miles along Lower Waterford Road to the Launch Site. Signs will help guide you from Exit 44.

BURLINGTON, MONTPELIER and OTHER POINTS WEST...

Take Rte. 2 East to St. Johnsbury. Take I-91 South and follow directions from St. Johnsbury, below.

MAINE...

Take US-302 West. Merge onto I-93 North. Take Exit 44 and follow directions above for Boston and Concord. signs will help guide you from Exit 44.

MONTREAL, CANADA...

Take Auto route 55 South. Auto route 55 South becomes I-91 South at the U.S. Border. See directions from St. Johnsbury, below. Drive time from Montreal approximately 2 hours.

ST. JOHNSBURY, VT (Intersection of Rte. 2 and I-91, Exit 21)...

Take I-91 South to Exit 19 (approximately 2 miles). This is the interchange with I-93 South. Take I-93 South to Exit 1 (approximately 5 miles). At the end of the ramp take a right turn onto Rte. 18 to Waterford, VT. Follow Rte. 18 (approximately 6 miles) to the Lower Waterford Road. There will be a sign for the Rabbit Hill Inn on your right, a bit obscured by trees so be sure to watch for it. Turn right onto Lower Waterford Road. Follow Lower Wateford Road (approximately 6 miles) to launch site.

SOUTH 'O THE STATE LINE...

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO GO...the first is quicker, the second is a bit longer but easier so take your pick:

A. Take I-91 North to Vermont Exit 18 (Barnet/Peacham), turn right; Take your very first left onto Church Street (0.1 miles); At the bottom of the hill (next to the Barnet Village Store) turn left at the stop sign onto Route 5 North (0.4); Continue north on Route 5 until you come into East Barnet Village (unmarked, but there is a church) and look for a sign on the right to Lower Waterford. Turn Right onto Comerford Dam Road (2.8 miles); Cross the green metal bridge, and continue straight out this road which starts out paved and turns to dirt (4.7 miles) and back to pavement again (5.2 miles); Continue on the same road past the signs for Comerford Station, and then look for the first dirt road on the right (5.8 miles); This will take you into the Pine Grove Picnic Area and Boat Launch.
